Dr. Jaroslava Zimmermann, M.A., studied sociology at the Comenius University in Bratislava (SK). After her graduation, she was working as a research assistant at the Institute of Medical Sociology, Health Services Research, and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Cologne. As a doctoral student and research associate within the scope of the NRW Graduate School GROW, she dealt with the organizational determinants of care quality in elderly nursing homes. Since 2019, Jaroslava Zimmermann is a research associate at ceres in the projects NRW80+ and D80+. Her particular research interests lie in the fields of health care research, health science, sociology of organizations and quality of life.
